Junior teams start from Under 6 up to Under 18.
Pre-season generally starts in February and competition fixtures start in March/April (for Under 12 & up) and May (for Under 6 to Under 11) and run until September.
Training days and times for each team will follow when registration for the junior team are complete, all players have been allocated to a team, all teams have been allocated a coach and have confirmed numbers. Training will be at Kinsellas Sporting Complex, North Lakes State College fields or Aurora Sporting fields, usually between 4:00pm and 8:00pm, depending on age group.
Match days for Under 6 to Under 13 are Saturday, and for Under 14 to Under 16 are Sunday. All teams up to and including Under 12 play on a modified size field with reduced player numbers.
Under 6 & 7 play 4 per side with up to 3 substitutes. The field is approximately 30m x 20m with a 2m x 1m goal. Games are 20 minute halves.
Under 8 & 9 play 7 per side with up to 4 substitutes. The field is approximately 45m x 35m with a 3m x 2m goal. Games are 20 minute halves.
Under 10 & Under 11 play 9 per side with up to 5 substitutes. The field is approximately 65m x 45m with a 5m x 2m goal. Games are 25 minute halves.
Under 12 play 9 per side with up to 4 substitutes. The field is approximately 65m x 45m with a 5m x 2m goal. Games are 25 minute halves. The offside rule applies only in the final quarter of the field.
The majority of games in age groups up to Under 14 will be played on the north side of Brisbane.
Under 13 & above play full-size fields with 11 per side. Under 13 to Under 16 play Sunday.
Under 6 & Under 7 home games will be played at Aurora Park, North Lakes on Saturday mornings.
Home games for Under 8 to Under 11 will be at North Lakes State College.
Home games for Under 12 to Under 18 will be either Kinsellas Park, Aurora Park or North Lakes State College.
